I am proud and honoured to be the Principal of The Rowans, a provision where all stakeholders work effectively and enthusiastically together to ensure continuing success.
The Rowans AP Academy is a provision which enables young people to change the direction of their lives. Through a trauma informed approach, positive relationships and a strong focus on our core values of kindness, commitment and resilience, all pupils have the opportunity to re-engage with education, taking ownership of their lives and their choices.

What a refreshing change to be asked to cover a practical DT lesson today. Our super creative DT teacher left these 'spooktacular' Halloween decorations for pupils to make, and as you can see, Form CN are well on their way to completing their own creepy characters! Well done boys.

Relationship building is so important when helping our pupils return to mainstream schools. It helps to build confidence and shows them people do genuinely care and want the best for them. This week we say goodbye to Sapphire, would brought me this very generous gift. It has been a pleasure being part of her journey. She will be missed, but I know she will smash it!
I'm always proud of these girls, they even came in for 2 hours prior to going on their well deserved trip to Thorpe Park to ensure they remained up to date with their Travel and Tourism coursework!
